What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Securities & Derivatives Intermediate Associate Analyst (Hybrid) to support transaction processing, clearance, settlement and investigations for client securities and derivatives. This is a full-time role based in Sioux Falls, SD (Primary location: 5800 SOUTH CORPORATE PLACE). The position reports into the Operations - Transaction Services group.
- Process and investigate securities and derivatives orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices
- Support clearance and settlement activities to ensure timely, accurate trade lifecycle completion
- Review hedge fund and counterparty activity; reconcile cash, holdings and securities pricing
- Contribute to customized reporting for management and process improvement initiatives
- Help identify policy gaps and support drafting or refining procedures to streamline work
- Provide on-the-job guidance to junior team members when needed
- Escalate, document and manage control issues; follow policies and regulatory requirements to safeguard assets and reputation
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of relevant securities/operations or financial services experience
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to follow established procedures
- Ability to learn securities processing practices and apply judgment about risk and controls
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model and collaborating with trading desks, branches and internal teams
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Primary salary range (full-time): $58,700 — $81,900 per year
- In addition to base salary, the Confidential Client may offer discretionary and formulaic incentive awards where eligible
