Overview
Confidential Client is hiring for an on-site supply chain role in Fort Lee, NJ. This position supports purchasing, logistics, import documentation, and customs clearance to ensure timely, compliant deliveries. Hands-on training is provided — this is a strong opportunity for entry-level candidates or recent graduates who are bilingual in Korean and English and want to build a career in supply chain operations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage purchase order operations and review POs and contracts for compliance with company policies
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, pricing, and terms issues
- Verify and review import documentation to ensure regulatory and company compliance
- Track shipments and coordinate customs clearance to prevent delays, fines, or seizure risks
- Identify and recommend process improvements across purchasing, inventory control, and logistics
- Coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, operations, finance) and external vendors to ensure on-time deliveries
- Escalate and resolve claims or exceptions and document corrective actions
Qualifications (Required)
- Bilingual in Korean and English — able to communicate clearly with vendors and partners
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Proactive, dependable, and able to solve problems independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Up to two years’ experience in purchasing, logistics, import/export operations, or claims management
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems
- Experience with customs documentation and international trade compliance
Compensation & Location
- Employment type: Full-time, on-site in Fort Lee, NJ
- Estimated salary (source): $63,415 per year — provided as an estimate by the job source and not a guaranteed offer. Final pay will be determined by the Confidential Client based on experience and qualifications.
