What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Associate Scientist — Data Review to join their Quality Assurance team in the Columbia/Prathersville, MO area. This role focuses on reviewing laboratory data and scientific reports under established quality systems and regulatory guidelines.

• Review scientific reports and laboratory data under cGMP guidelines to ensure completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Verify that reports meet internal quality standards and are ready for final sign-off.
• Work closely with laboratory operations staff to clarify data, resolve discrepancies, and support timely report completion.
• Assist with internal audits and documentation reviews as assigned.
• Maintain clear, auditable records of review activities and decisions.
• Other duties as assigned in support of QA processes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Experience in a laboratory or GMP/pharmaceutical setting (internships or academic lab experience accepted).
• Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with common computer tools (MS Office or comparable software).
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to learn new techniques and regulatory expectations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or a directly related field (or equivalent coursework).
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Schedule & Location

• Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
• Candidates should live within a commutable distance of Columbia / Prathersville, MO.

• Estimated base pay: $57,672 per year (estimated).
