Role Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a SCADA Data Analyst to support SCADA/telemetry operations in Juno Beach, FL. This engagement offers flexible contracting options (W2 / 1099 / C2C) and requires periodic onsite presence (once per week) to collaborate with operations and engineering teams. The role is ideal for analysts with experience working with SCADA or industrial telemetry data who can turn operational signals into reliable insight and actionable reports.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor and validate SCADA and telemetry data for accuracy and integrity
- Identify and investigate anomalies, alarms, and data gaps; coordinate resolution with field teams
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc data reports and visualizations used by operations and engineering
- Develop and maintain dashboards and queries to surface trends and KPIs
- Clean, aggregate, and transform raw SCADA data for analysis and system health checks
- Support data integration efforts between SCADA historians and downstream systems
- Document procedures, data definitions, and troubleshooting steps
- Participate in weekly onsite reviews and cross-functional meetings
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience working with SCADA, telemetry, or industrial control data
- Comfort with data analysis tools and routines (e.g., SQL, Excel; Python or similar is a plus)
- Familiarity with SCADA platforms, historians, or related systems (examples: Ignition, Wonderware, OSIsoft, etc.) is beneficial
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Clear communicator with the ability to produce concise reports and visualizations
- Able to work as a contractor (W2 / 1099 / C2C) and be onsite in Juno Beach, FL once per week
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Energy, Utilities, Water/Wastewater, or Industrial Automation environments
- Prior experience integrating SCADA data with analytics platforms or BI tools
- Understanding of PLCs, RTUs, networking fundamentals, and alarm management concepts
