The Opportunity

Confidential Client is seeking a Staff 2-level consultant to join a two-year Consultant Development Program (CDP) within their SAP practice. This role is designed for early-career professionals who want hands-on experience delivering SAP and ERP-focused implementations across business functions such as Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing and Data & Analytics. You will work on client-facing project teams to translate business needs into system solutions, support configuration and integration, help execute testing, and assist with user enablement.

This is a client-facing consulting role that will require regular travel (estimated up to 80%) to meet client needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in working sessions with clients to define, validate, and deliver solution components
  • Analyze business and operational data to support recommendations and solution design
  • Document business requirements and translate them into functional or technical specifications
  • Support configuration and integration activities across SAP and non‑SAP systems
  • Assist with test planning, execution, defect resolution, and user acceptance testing
  • Generate system reports and support user training and adoption efforts
  • Collaborate across functional and technical teams to support delivery execution

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, MIS, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of relevant professional experience, which may include internships supporting enterprise technology, ERP, business process transformation, or systems implementation initiatives
  • Familiarity with requirements gathering, testing methodologies, and solution delivery processes
  • Technical aptitude for application functional design and ability to translate business requirements into system functionality
  • Exposure to or aptitude for technologies and tools such as Java, JavaScript, .NET, Python, C/C++, PHP, web development, SQL, R, Tableau, Power BI, or ERP platforms (SAP or Oracle)
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites (driver’s license strongly recommended)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range (all US locations): $76,600 — $126,300 per year
  • Base salary range (New York City Metro, Washington State, California excluding Sacramento): $91,800 — $143,400 per year
  • Actual salary offered will depend on factors including education, experience, skills, and location
  • Benefits typically include medical and dental coverage, retirement/401(k) options, paid time off, and other Total Rewards elements
  • Hybrid work expectations for client‑facing roles: approximately 40–60% in person across engagements

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Foundational knowledge of SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP certification or actively pursuing SAP certification in a relevant area
  • Prior consulting experience or demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework/internships
  • Experience with client engagement, project management, and driving projects to completion
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience with analytics tools and reporting
