What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring for a Staff 2 position in their SAP practice as part of a two-year Consultant Development Program (CDP). In this client-facing delivery role you will support technical and functional activities across SAP and integrated systems to help clients meet business objectives.
- Engage with clients in working sessions to define, validate and deliver solution components.
- Translate business requirements into technical/functional specifications and design documentation.
- Support configuration, integration and testing across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Analyze data to support recommendations, reporting and solution design.
- Assist with test planning, execution, issue resolution and user adoption activities.
- Produce system reports, training materials and end-user support during rollout.
- Collaborate across cross-functional delivery teams to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, MIS or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant professional experience or internships supporting enterprise technology, ERP implementations, business process transformation, or systems delivery.
- Understanding of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC), requirements gathering, testing methodologies and solution delivery processes.
- Strong aptitude for application functional design and mapping business to technical requirements.
- Familiarity with system integration concepts and business process design.
- Technical aptitude or experience with one or more of: Java, JavaScript, .NET, Python, C/C++, PHP, web development, SQL, R, Tableau, Power BI, ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle) or integration tools.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills; strong relationship-building and client-facing capabilities.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, think critically and adapt quickly.
- Willingness to travel to client sites (travel estimated at 80%).
Preferred / Ideal Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA.
- SAP certification or actively pursuing certification in a relevant functional/technical area.
- Prior consulting experience, client engagement or project management exposure.
- Demonstrated interest in consulting via coursework, internships or extracurriculars.
- Experience driving projects to completion and managing competing priorities.
- Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools to support decision-making.
- Access to reliable transportation; driver’s license strongly recommended.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range (all U.S. locations): $76,600 to $126,300 per year.
- Base salary range (New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California excluding Sacramento): $91,800 to $143,400 per year. Individual pay is determined by factors such as location, experience, education and skill set.
- Total Rewards package typically includes medical and dental coverage, retirement plans (401(k)/pension where applicable), paid time off, holidays and other benefits.
- Participation in a structured two-year Consultant Development Program with on-the-job training to build technical competency and consulting fundamentals.
Location & Travel
- Job location: Secaucus, NJ (role may be listed as Anywhere in Country in the client posting).
- Client-facing, hybrid model expected; most external consulting roles work together in person ~40–60% of the time over the course of engagements.
- Travel to client sites is required; travel is estimated at ~80%.
