About the Role
Confidential client is hiring for a Staff 2 within their SAP practice as part of a two-year Consultant Development Program (CDP). This entry-level consulting role focuses on building technical competency, consulting fundamentals, and hands-on project delivery experience. You’ll support client engagements across SAP and adjacent platforms, helping translate business requirements into system functionality and supporting implementations, testing, and user adoption.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with business stakeholders in working sessions to define and validate solution components.
- Translate business requirements into technical or functional specifications.
- Support configuration and integration across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Assist with test planning, execution, and issue resolution.
- Analyze data to support recommendations and solution design.
- Generate system reports and support user training and adoption.
- Collaborate across delivery teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Travel to client sites as required (travel estimated up to 80%).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, MIS, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant professional or internship experience supporting enterprise technology, ERP, business process transformation, or systems implementation initiatives.
- Understanding of the systems development lifecycle (SDLC), requirements gathering, testing methodologies, and solution delivery processes.
- Ability to define, analyze, and map business and technical requirements.
- Familiarity with system integration concepts and business process design.
- Technical aptitude in application functional design.
- Experience or aptitude with one or more of: Java, JavaScript, .NET, Python, C/C++, PHP, web development, SQL, R, Tableau, Power BI, ERP platforms (SAP or Oracle), or integration tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to build relationships in client-facing settings.
- Structured problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to learn on the job.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites; driver’s license strongly recommended.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Foundational knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, or other ERP platforms.
- SAP certification or active pursuit of certification.
- Prior consulting experience, client engagement, or project management exposure.
- Demonstrated coursework, internships, or organizational involvement showing interest in consulting.
- Strong data analysis skills and familiarity with analytics tools to inform decisions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range (US locations): $76,600 to $126,300 per year.
- Base salary range for NYC Metro, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento): $91,800 to $143,400 per year.
