What You’ll Do

This Foster City, CA–based, entry-level role (0–2 years) supports SAP ABAP/RAP and SAP BTP development under senior mentorship. Typical responsibilities include:

• Assist in building and testing OData services using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) under senior developer guidance.
• Learn and contribute to UI5/Fiori application development in SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), starting with Smart Controls and standard UI annotations.
• Shadow architecture discussions on Managed/Standalone App Router configurations and progressively take on configuration tasks.
• Support XSUAA authentication setup and Cloud Connector connectivity tasks with supervision.
• Participate in functional walkthroughs across EAM (Work Orders, Asset Lifecycle), MM/EWM (Inventory, part replacement), and PP/QM (production planning, quality) to build domain knowledge.
• Assist with Fiori Elements extensions, basic controller logic, and CDS view development.
• Write Python scripts and utilities to support integration testing, data processing, and automation.
• Complete structured SAP training and certification during onboarding (BTP, RAP, UI5 fundamentals).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field (recent graduate; 0–2 years experience).
• Mandatory: working proficiency in Python (core language, scripting, basic OOP).
• Foundational knowledge of ABAP, OOP concepts, and/or exposure to SAP through coursework, internships, or academic projects.
• Basic understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST/OData concepts) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to learn quickly in a structured mentorship environment.
• Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Academic exposure to SAP BTP, Fiori, or cloud application development.
• SAP certifications completed during college.
• Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Requests, FastAPI/Flask, or PyTest.
• Exposure to AI agent tooling or frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen) through coursework, hackathons, or personal projects.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated annual compensation: $111,021 per year (estimated). Final pay will depend on qualifications, experience, location, and other factors.
• Comprehensive benefits (for eligible employees): medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), life, disability & ADD insurance.
• Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees receive paid time off only as required by law; other leave per applicable laws.
• This role is not eligible for bonuses, incentives, or commissions.
