The SAP ABAP & BTP Full Stack Developer (Entry-Level) at Confidential Client is an on-site role focused on building foundational skills in SAP ABAP RAP and SAP BTP technologies. The developer will assist in developing OData services, UI5/Fiori applications, and support integration and security configurations under senior mentorship, gaining domain knowledge across multiple SAP modules and completing structured SAP training.

What You’ll Do
Confidential client is hiring an entry‑level SAP ABAP & BTP Full Stack Developer to work on-site in Foster City, CA (5 days/week). This is a hands‑on learning role where you will work under senior architects to build foundational skills in ABAP RAP, SAP BTP, and UI5/Fiori while contributing to integration and automation tasks.
- Assist in building and testing OData services using the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) with senior developer guidance
- Contribute to UI5/Fiori application development in SAP Business Application Studio (BAS), starting with Smart Controls and standard UI annotations
- Shadow and gradually support App Router configuration (managed/standalone patterns) and related security models
- Support XSUAA authentication setup and Cloud Connector connectivity tasks under supervision
- Participate in functional walkthroughs across EAM, MM/EWM, PP, and QM to build domain knowledge
- Assist with Fiori Elements extensions, basic controller logic, and CDS view development
- Write Python scripts/utilities to support integration testing, data processing, and automation alongside the SAP stack
- Complete structured SAP trainings/certifications during onboarding (BTP, RAP, UI5 fundamentals)
What We’re Looking For (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering field (recent graduates with 0–2 years’ experience encouraged to apply)
- Mandatory: Working proficiency in Python (scripting, basic OOP)
- Foundational knowledge of ABAP, OOP concepts, or exposure to SAP through coursework, internships, or academic projects
- Basic understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST/OData concepts)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and the ability to learn quickly in a structured mentorship environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Academic or practical exposure to SAP BTP, UI5/Fiori, or cloud application development
- SAP certifications completed during college or training (if any)
- Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Requests, FastAPI/Flask, or PyTest
- Exposure to AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen) through coursework, hackathons, or personal projects

Compensation
- Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 per year. The actual salary offered will depend on factors including location, experience, skills, education, and other job‑related criteria.
