What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring a Salesforce Engineer to design, build, test, and maintain solutions on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Health Cloud that support sales processes, member engagement, and integrations with backend systems.

  • Develop and maintain Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative Salesforce components for Sales Cloud and Health Cloud.
  • Build integrations between Salesforce and internal/external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware).
  • Author and optimize SOQL queries, Apex triggers, and batch/async processing where appropriate.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines, manage source control (Git), and support automated deployments to multiple orgs.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and other engineers in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality features.
  • Create unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, analyze system performance, and recommend improvements.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, SOQL, Triggers).
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Health Cloud implementations.
  • Strong skills in Lightning Web Components (LWC) or Aura components.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST/SOAP, middleware).
  • Familiarity with source control (Git), CI/CD tooling, and deployment strategies.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
  • Ability to work on-site in Chicago, IL or within client-required onsite schedule; must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I / II certification, Health Cloud certification a plus.
  • Experience with data migration, ETL tools, or middleware (Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, etc.).
  • Prior experience in healthcare, health insurance, or regulated environments.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA/security best practices and compliance considerations.

Location & Work Arrangement

  • Primary location: Chicago, IL (on-site or hybrid as required by client).
