Sales Representative - Spanish Speaking
The Sales Representative role at Confidential Client involves outside sales focused on promoting products and building strong customer relationships within the San Francisco Peninsula territory. What You’ll Do
This is an outside territory sales role focused on building and growing customer relationships within the assigned San Francisco Peninsula territory. You will be responsible for promoting products and services, helping customers succeed, and meeting sales and profitability goals set by the confidential client.
- Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth.
- Seek and qualify prospects according to account stratification goals.
- Research customer needs and propose product/service mixes to meet those needs.
- Monitor market trends, product innovations, and competitor activity; share relevant insights with customers.
- Provide product information and practical training to customer staff.
- Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, events, and meetings as required.
- Manage collections and coordinate with credit/operations to resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot order/delivery problems (out of stock, special orders, inventory issues).
- Participate in company promotions, customer events, sales meetings, and ongoing training.
- Prepare sales budgets and reports; maintain sales records; prepare quotes, menu suggestions, and other administrative duties.
- Assist in onboarding/training new hires and other duties as assigned.
Territory & Location Requirements
- Territory covers the San Francisco Peninsula area.
- Candidates must live no further than one hour (with traffic) from the territory or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base salary: $50,182 per year (estimated).

Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR
- High school diploma/GED plus 3 years of restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience, or comparable relevant experience (including completion of a sales internship).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Background in restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or chef/culinary experience is a plus.
Certificates, Licenses & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record meeting the confidential client’s insurability standards.
- Current automobile insurance meeting the following limits of liability (required): bodily injury $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident; property damage $100,000.
- Must pass employment testing and sign the confidential client’s protective covenants agreement.
- Must reside or be willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
Professional Skills & Competencies
- Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish language ability preferred.
