Sales Representative/Business Development Representative - B2B (Entry Level)
The Sales Representative/Business Development Representative at Confidential Client is responsible for selling select products within assigned territories or accounts, generating leads, and qualifying prospects through in-person and telephone sales calls. This entry-level role involves collaboration with internal teams, participation in sales campaigns, and occasional training at corporate headquarters, emphasizing strong communication, organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach.

What You’ll Do
- Sell assigned product lines to customers within a defined geographical territory and/or assigned accounts.
- Qualify prospects in person and by phone; generate and follow up on leads.
- Support and participate in corporate and local sales campaigns.
- Work collaboratively with branch teams and support functions to coordinate customer solutions.
- Assist other sales colleagues with territory management and communications as needed.
- Participate in training locally, in the field, and occasionally at corporate headquarters.
- Conduct product demonstrations (requires safe operation of lift trucks for demos).
Minimum Qualifications
- Less than 2 years of related experience (entry-level).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demonstrations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, professional selling, or related field is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Problem-solving ability, self-motivation, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Comfortable working as part of a team.
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours when required to prepare for sales activities.
