What You’ll Do

This outside sales role is focused on building strong, long-term customer relationships in an assigned territory (Bucks County). As a Sales Representative for our confidential client you will drive new business, support existing accounts, and deliver value-added product and service solutions to foodservice customers.

  • Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
  • Qualify prospects and follow account-stratification goals.
  • Research customer needs and recommend product/service mixes to meet those needs.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity; recommend products and value-added services.
  • Answer customer questions about products, pricing, availability, and product use.
  • Provide product information and on-site training to customer staff.
  • Drive to customer accounts, events, and meetings using a personal vehicle.
  • Coordinate with credit and transportation teams to manage invoicing, payments, and delivery issues.
  • Participate in promotions, customer events, and regular sales/district meetings.
  • Prepare sales quotes, menu suggestions, sales budgets and periodic reports.
  • Support ongoing training and assist in training new employees when requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

We want candidates who combine sales aptitude with foodservice or hospitality knowledge — restaurant managers, chefs, and experienced sales professionals are encouraged to apply.

  • Education & experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED plus 3 years’ restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience (or equivalent experience, including completion of a sales internship).
  • Preferred
    • Restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or chef experience.
    • Bilingual candidates are encouraged.
  • Licenses & requirements
    • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for insurability.
    • Current automobile insurance meeting required liability limits (as applicable).
    • Must pass employment testing and sign the confidential client’s protective covenants agreement.
    • Reside in or be willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory.
  • Skills & competencies
    • Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office.
    • Strong communication, follow-up, adaptability, and customer-relationship skills.
    • Demonstrated sales ability and time/work management.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base pay: $54,078 per year (estimated) — plus bonus opportunities and promotional incentives.

    • Car allowance (or mileage reimbursement where applicable) and company-provided cell phone.

Working Conditions & Other Details

  • This position may require some non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) to meet customer needs.
