Sales Representative
The Sales Representative at Confidential Client is responsible for outside sales activities, promoting products and services, and building strong customer relationships to achieve sales and profit goals. This role involves developing new business, managing existing accounts, providing product training, and participating in sales meetings and company events. The position requires adaptability to non-traditional hours and a focus on customer success within assigned territories.

What You’ll Do
This is an outside, territory-based sales role focused on building relationships with new and existing accounts in the Lehigh Valley area and helping customers succeed while meeting sales and profitability goals established by the Confidential Client.
- Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within the assigned territory.
- Identify, qualify, and prioritize prospects according to account stratification goals.
- Research customers’ needs and recommend a mix of products and services to meet those needs.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity; recommend product solutions that align with customer business goals.
- Provide product information, demonstrations, and practical training to customer staff.
- Answer customer inquiries about products, pricing, availability, and usage.
- Manage order issues (out-of-stock, special orders, inventory) and coordinate with internal teams to resolve problems.
- Participate in customer visits, events, promotions, and sales meetings.
- Prepare sales quotes, menu suggestions, budgets and reports; maintain sales records and follow up on accounts receivable as needed.
- Engage in ongoing sales training and support onboarding/training of new team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base compensation: $65,604 per year (estimated).

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related discipline OR
- High school diploma/GED plus 3 years’ experience in restaurant management, B2B or outside sales, or equivalent experience (including completion of a recognized sales internship).
Preferred
- Bi-lingual candidates.
- Restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or chef experience.
Certificates, Licenses & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and an automobile insurance policy that meets company insurance limits (Bodily injury: $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident; Property damage: $100,000).
- Must pass employment testing and sign the Confidential Client Protective Covenants Agreement as a condition of employment.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory (Lehigh Valley, PA).
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Location & Work Environment
- Territory-based outside sales in Lehigh Valley, PA. This role requires driving a personal vehicle to customer accounts, meetings and events. Candidates should be prepared to work independently in the field and collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs.
