What You’ll Do
As an entry-level B2B Sales Representative (Business Development Representative) working for our confidential client in the Sales industry, you will join a regional sales team focused on building customer relationships and growing business in your assigned territory. Typical responsibilities include:
- Sell select products and solutions to assigned accounts and prospects within a geographic territory.
- Qualify leads and prospects in person and by phone; generate and follow up on new business opportunities.
- Participate in corporate and local sales campaigns and territory management activities.
- Work closely with branch teams and cross-functional partners to coordinate demonstrations, proposals, and after-sale support.
- Participate in training locally, in the field, and occasionally at corporate headquarters to build product and sales skills.
- Track activity, update CRM records, and support reporting and pipeline visibility.
Minimum Qualifications
- Less than 2 years of related sales or customer-facing experience (entry-level candidates encouraged).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demonstrations when required.
- Right to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship (see Work Authorization section).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, professional selling, entrepreneurship, or related field is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage a sales territory.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Intermediate computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Willingness to work occasional outside normal business hours to prepare for sales activities and customer meetings.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base pay (as advertised): $53,241 per year (estimated).
