What You’ll Do

This is an outside, territory-based sales role focused on building and growing business with foodservice customers. You will own relationships in the Campbell, CA territory, identify opportunities, and drive profitable growth while supporting customers with product knowledge and service.

  • Promote products and services to new and existing accounts to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Develop new business and expand penetration in existing accounts; reduce lost business.
  • Qualify leads and manage prospecting activities aligned with account segmentation goals.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend product and service mixes to meet those needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product innovations and share insights with customers.
  • Provide product information and on-site practical training to customer staff.
  • Drive a personal vehicle to customer sites, conventions, and company meetings.
  • Participate in company promotions, customer events, district meetings, and ongoing training.
  • Perform sales administration: prepare quotes, sales budgets, reports, process credits, and maintain records.
  • Support collections and coordinate with credit/transportation teams to resolve order issues.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members as requested.

Note: Required Sales Class training will start on September 28, 2026.


Who You Are / Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED plus 3 years’ restaurant management, B2B/outside sales experience, or equivalent relevant experience (including completion of a sales internship).
  • Valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.
  • Current automobile insurance meeting required limits (see Certificates/Licenses).
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office.
  • Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Preferred

  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages helpful).
  • Restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or chef experience.

Certificates, licenses, and insurance

  • Valid driver’s license that meets company insurability standards.
  • Current automobile insurance with limits: bodily injury $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident; property damage $100,000.

Other requirements

  • Pass employment testing.
  • Sign the company’s protective covenants agreement if hired.
  • Reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the geographic vicinity of the Campbell, CA territory (must live no more than ~1 hour drive including traffic, or be able to relocate on your own).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated annual base: $54,224 (estimated).

Location & Travel

  • This role is field-based and requires regular travel within the assigned Campbell, CA territory.
  • Candidates must be able to drive to customer locations and attend occasional evening, weekend or holiday events as needed.
  • Must live within approximately 1 hour (with traffic) of the Campbell, CA territory or be willing to relocate independently.
