Sales Representative — Spanish Speaking (Outside Sales)
Confidential Client is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Spanish-speaking Sales Representative for an outside sales territory in Tenderloin, CA. This field role focuses on building and growing business relationships with restaurants and foodservice operators to drive profitable sales growth while delivering exceptional customer service.
Compensation & Location
- Estimated base pay: $62,020 per year (estimated)
- Employment type: Full-time
- Work territory: Tenderloin, CA (candidates must live within ~1 hour of territory or relocate at their own expense)
- This position requires use of a personal vehicle for customer visits (see license/insurance requirements below)

What You’ll Do
- Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth within an assigned territory
- Seek, qualify, and prioritize prospects according to account stratification goals
- Understand customer needs and recommend product and service mixes to meet business goals
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and product innovations; provide value-added insights to customers
- Provide product information and hands-on training to customer personnel
- Manage account receivables in coordination with credit teams and collect balances as needed
- Coordinate with the transportation team on order scheduling and troubleshoot order/delivery issues
- Participate in customer events, promotions, conventions, and sales/district meetings
- Maintain sales records, prepare sales quotes, menu suggestions, budgets, and regular reports
- Support onboarding and training of new sales team members when requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field OR High school diploma/GED plus 3 years’ experience in restaurant management, B2B/outside sales, or equivalent relevant experience
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no multiple DUIs in the last 2 years)
- Current automobile insurance meeting required limits (Bodily injury: $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident; Property damage: $100,000)
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Willingness to sign Confidential Client Protective Covenants Agreement
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory
- Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office

- Restaurant management, culinary, or foodservice outside sales experience
- Prior experience selling to ethnic foodservice segments or independent restaurants

Additional Requirements & Notes
- This is an outside sales role requiring regular travel within the assigned territory using a personal vehicle.
- Candidates must live within approximately one hour of the territory (including traffic) or be willing to relocate at their own expense prior to hire.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment screening (drug test, background check) and required agreements.
