Role overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Sales and Operations Management Trainee to join the Oakwood, OH team. This role provides hands-on exposure to sales, fleet and inventory operations, customer solutions and cross-functional business processes. You will receive structured training, mentoring and a fast path to management roles across multiple locations.
What You’ll Do
- Develop customer solutions for consumer and commercial accounts, including regional and national customers.
- Support sales activities: generate leads, pursue new business and nurture existing customer relationships.
- Manage fleet and inventory to balance productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with finance, customer service, technology and operations teams on process improvements.
- Deliver a high level of customer service in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Travel within the district as needed for customer yards, training and site visits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Business or Marketing concentration preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Internship or customer-facing work experience preferred.
- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required and the ability/willingness to operate company vehicles, including 26' box trucks.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs occasionally; general physical ability to stand, walk and sit as needed.
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the role.
- This position is DOT-regulated and safety-sensitive for roles requiring driving. Applicants must be able to maintain a driver qualification file that includes an annual motor vehicle record (MVR) check, a DOT physical, and safety performance history checks. CDL holders will have a DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and are subject to FMCSA Clearinghouse review.

Work location & travel
- Primary location: Oakwood, OH (local facility / branch). Exact work address will be provided by the client during the hiring process.
- This is an on-site role with required travel within the local district for customer visits and training.
