What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Sales and Operations Management Trainee. This role blends sales, operations, fleet oversight and customer service while providing structured training and mentorship to accelerate your path into management.

• $25 per hour

Major Responsibilities

• Develop customer solutions for consumer and commercial accounts, including enterprise and Fortune 500 customers
• Manage and optimize a large fleet of vehicles—balancing productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction
• Generate new business leads and cultivate existing customer relationships
• Ensure excellent customer service and timely resolution of operational issues
• Collaborate closely with a high-energy team and participate in training programs and mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferably Business, Marketing or related)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Internship or prior customer-facing experience preferred
• Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and time management
• Valid driver’s license required and willingness to drive company vehicles, including a 26' box truck
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance
• Willingness to travel within the district for customer yards and training as needed

Important regulatory requirements (role involves driving company and customer vehicles):

• This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and requires a driver qualification file that includes an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT physical, and safety performance history records requests from prior employers for the last 3 years
• CDL holders will have a DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and are subject to FMCSA Clearinghouse review
• Background check (employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening are required

• Ability to read, communicate, remember and analyze information and follow instructions
• Frequently required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to handle items; may reach with hands and arms
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs (12 kg)
• Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
