About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Sales & Operations Management Trainee in Windsor, WI. This fast-track management trainee role combines hands-on operations, fleet oversight, customer-facing sales and account management in a logistics & warehouse environment. This is an excellent opportunity for recent bachelor’s degree graduates who want structured training, mentorship and clear career progression into operations and management.


What You’ll Do

As a Sales & Operations Management Trainee you will:

  • Learn and apply sales processes to develop solutions for consumer and commercial customers, including support for local and national accounts.
  • Manage vehicle and equipment inventory to balance fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Generate new business leads and grow existing customer relationships through proactive outreach and exceptional service.
  • Support daily operations: dispatching, billing basics, customer service, and coordination with field teams.
  • Use company systems and technology to track performance, manage accounts and report on operational metrics.
  • Participate in structured training, mentoring sessions and on-the-job rotations across sales, operations, finance and customer service.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (preferred concentration: Business, Marketing or related).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with attention to detail and good time-management skills.
  • Internship or customer-facing work experience preferred but not required.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive company vehicles, including 26' box trucks.
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance.

Regulatory and role-specific requirements:

  • This role includes driving company and customer vehicles and is regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). Candidates must maintain a driver qualification file, which includes:
    • Annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check.
    • Successfully completed DOT physical.
    • Safety performance history records request from prior employers (last 3 years).
    • CDL holders: DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
  • Willingness to travel within the district for customer visits and training as required.
  • Successful completion of a background check (employment, education and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $25.00 per hour (hourly rate as stated by the hiring client).

  • Employment type: Full-time; internship program elements may apply depending on candidate and program enrollment.
  • This position requires in-person work at the specified location and district travel as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit and use hands frequently.
  • Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs (12 kg).
  • Visual abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
