What You’ll Do

As a Sales and Operations Management Trainee with our confidential client you will apply your degree and fast-learning mindset to run day-to-day business operations and build customer solutions. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Develop customer solutions for consumer and commercial accounts, including local and national (Fortune 500) clients
  • Manage a large fleet inventory — balancing productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
  • Generate new business leads and deepen existing customer relationships
  • Deliver high-quality customer service and quick problem resolution
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, finance, customer service and technology teams while participating in training and mentoring programs

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business or Marketing concentration preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Internship or customer-facing work experience preferred
  • Results-oriented, detail-focused with strong time-management skills
  • Valid driver’s license required and willingness to drive company vehicles (including 26' box truck)
  • Regular, predictable attendance and the ability to work the required schedule and assigned location
  • Ability to travel within the district for customer yards and training as needed

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $25 per hour with shift/weekend incentives (as listed by the source)

Requirements, Safety & Compliance

This position is safety-sensitive and regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). Required pre-employment and ongoing checks include:

  • Annual Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintenance of a driver qualification file
  • Successfully completed DOT physical exam where required
  • Safety Performance History review (requests to prior employers covering the last 3 years)
  • CDL holders: DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and FMCSA Clearinghouse review, as applicable
  • Background check (employment, education, criminal history) and drug screening required

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to read, communicate, remember and analyze information and follow instructions
  • May be required to stand, walk and sit frequently; use hands to handle items and reach with arms
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs (12 kg)
  • Vision requirements include close, distance and peripheral vision and depth perception
