What You’ll Do

You will join a fast-paced Sales & Operations Management Trainee program supporting day-to-day fleet, sales, and customer operations. Working with a high-energy team, you’ll receive formal training and on-the-job mentoring to prepare for a management career in logistics and fleet services.

  • Develop customer solutions for both consumer and commercial accounts, including national accounts
  • Manage inventory of vehicles to balance productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction
  • Generate new business leads and grow relationships with existing customers
  • Support sales processes, customer service, and operational workflows using company tools and systems
  • Work with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, technology) to solve customer issues quickly

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth via prospecting, quoting, and follow-up
  • Ensure fleet readiness and efficient vehicle utilization
  • Deliver excellent customer service in person and by phone
  • Maintain accurate records (sales, fleet, DOT compliance)
  • Participate in training, coaching and performance reviews; be ready for advancement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing or related preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-facing internship or work experience preferred
  • Results-oriented, detail-focused, with good time-management skills
  • Valid driver’s license required and willingness/ability to drive company vehicles (including 26' box trucks)
  • Ability to work the required schedule and location, travel within the district as needed
  • Must pass background check and drug screening as required

Physical Requirements & Compliance

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs (12 kg)
  • Vision abilities: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • This position is DOT-regulated when driving company or customer vehicles. Required driver qualification file elements include motor vehicle record checks, a DOT physical, safety performance history requests, and (for CDL holders) DOT drug screening and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $27.88/hr (approx. $57,990/yr). Performance reviews every 4–6 months.
