What You’ll Do
As a Sales and Operations Management Trainee for our confidential client in Park, IL you will rotate across business functions to learn how to run a location and support customers. Typical responsibilities include:
- Develop customer solutions for consumer and commercial accounts, including national accounts
- Manage fleet and inventory — balance productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Generate new business leads and nurture existing relationships
- Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in structured training and mentoring across sales, operations, finance and technology
- Work closely with a high-energy team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Travel within the local district for customer sites and training as needed
- Maintain DOT driver qualification and safe driving practices when operating company or customer vehicles
Qualifications
We welcome entry-level candidates who meet the core requirements below:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business or Marketing concentration preferred)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Internship or prior customer-facing experience preferred but not required
- Results-oriented with good attention to detail and time management
- Valid driver’s license and willingness/ability to drive company vehicles, including a 26' box truck
- Able to maintain regular, predictable attendance and work at the assigned Park, IL location
- Must be able to complete employer application, background check, and drug screening
- Ability to meet DOT regulatory requirements for drivers: annual MVR check, DOT physical, and safety performance history checks; CDL holders subject to FMCSA Clearinghouse review

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $25.00 per hour (as stated by the client); estimated annual compensation appears consistent with this hourly rate

Physical Requirements & Safety
- Ability to stand, walk and sit as job duties require
- Frequently use hands to handle and feel; reach with hands and arms

- Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Position may be designated safety-sensitive and regulated by the Department of Transportation; associates are expected to work in a constant state of alertness and follow all safety procedures
Additional Details
- Employment type: Full-time (with internship classification listed by the client for some candidates)
- This role requires driving and maintenance of driver qualification documentation as described above
