What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Sales and Operations Management Trainee to learn the business, engage customers, and support day-to-day fleet and operations activities at the Elkhart, IN location. This is a fast-paced role designed to develop future leaders in sales and operations across our logistics & warehouse network.
- Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts, including Fortune 500 customers
- Manage a large inventory of nationally recognized vehicles and coordinate fleet productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction
- Generate new business leads and strengthen existing customer relationships
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve problems quickly and professionally
- Learn company sales processes, technology tools, and business operations through hands-on training and mentoring
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, finance, customer service, technology) to support growth and service objectives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Internship or customer-facing work experience preferred but not required
- Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and time management abilities
- Valid driver’s license required and willingness to drive company vehicles, including 26’ box trucks
- Able to maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
- Willingness to travel within the district for customer visits and training as required
- Must complete a driver qualification file and maintain DOT-required records (annual MVR check, DOT physical, Safety Performance History request). CDL holders will require DOT drug screening within 30 days and FMCSA Clearinghouse review when applicable
- Successful completion of background check (employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required

- Role is safety-sensitive and regulated by DOT when driving company or customer vehicles; requires constant alertness and adherence to safety procedures
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $25.00 per hour (approx. $73,944 estimated annual equivalent)
- Employment type: Full-Time (with internship-class development opportunities)
