Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Sales & Marketing Specialist to support sales growth, merchandising, and retail strategies for plumbing and aftermarket hardware products sold at major retailers. This role combines field and desk work: you’ll help prepare sales materials, support product launches, analyze sales and retail data, and represent the Confidential Client at customer events and trade shows.
Key Responsibilities
- Support execution of sales growth strategies, including new product launches, merchandising updates, and promotional vehicles
- Implement digital merchandising strategies to improve product visibility and sales across customer websites
- Represent the Confidential Client in-person and virtually at customer training events, industry trade shows, and customer meetings
- Communicate with customers about orders and inventory status
- Develop deep product knowledge of toilet repair and related aftermarket hardware to influence customers, store associates, and end users
- Create presentations, sales materials, and promotional content in support of the sales team
- Conduct market and retail field research and present findings internally
- Capture and share voice-of-customer (VOC) insights and collaborate on marketing strategy and campaign development
- Use sales and retail data to monitor performance and identify opportunities to enhance product impact
- Work cross-functionally with Customer Service, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Engineering teams
Requirements
- Entry-level role — best for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2–3 years of related experience
- Relevant internships, class projects, or early professional experience in sales, marketing, or merchandising
- Sales and/or marketing experience is a plus
- Experience supporting aftermarket hardware or retail accounts is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills and willingness to represent the company at events and meetings
- Comfortable using data to inform decisions and track sales trends
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Business, or related fields) or equivalent experience
