What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join a fast-growing healthcare technology sales team in Santa Barbara, CA. This is an entry-level, full-time, in-office role with structured training, coaching, and a clear promotion path to Account Executive.
- Own the outreach engine — design and execute strategic, multi-channel outbound campaigns (phone, email, LinkedIn, video) targeting senior healthcare decision-makers (C‑Suite, VPs).
- Rapidly research, identify, and deeply qualify inbound and outbound opportunities to build a high-quality pipeline for Account Executives.
- Conduct pre-call intelligence to tailor messaging and demonstrate domain understanding.
- Use Salesforce (and other CRM/tools) daily to track progress, manage cadences, and report market feedback.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to test messaging, run role-plays, and refine outreach strategies.
- Meet activity, qualification, and pipeline metrics defined by sales leadership.
- Represent Confidential Client as a strategic consultant — bring curiosity, preparation, and professionalism to every conversation.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree OR 1–2 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing, or goal-oriented role (e.g., retail management, fundraising, military service, competitive sports).
- Highly motivated, coachable, and competitive with a strong desire to learn and progress in a sales career.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual ability is valuable — fluency in English is required; French language skills are a strong plus (see job title).
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach and phone-based prospecting.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and outreach automation platforms is a plus.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States and able to provide proof of long-term authorization; Confidential Client is unable to sponsor visas.
Compensation & Benefits
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $85,000 annually (Base: $57,000 + $28,000 uncapped bonus).
- Eligible for equity in the form of stock options.

Interview Process
- Quick phone screen to discuss your background and career goals.
- Writing assignment (self-paced, ~1 hour) to assess written communication and research skills.
- Zoom interview with the hiring manager (~30 minutes).
- Final on-site interview in Santa Barbara with a mock call exercise (~1 hour). This role requires participation in the on-site mock call.
Location & Schedule
- This is a full-time, in-office position based in downtown Santa Barbara, CA. Confidential Client requires 5 days per week on-site for this role (Monday–Friday).
