Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a full-time, in-office Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be based in Santa Barbara, CA. This is an entry-level-to-mid opportunity for a motivated, coachable salesperson who wants a fast-track career in B2B HealthTech / healthcare sales. You will own outbound prospecting and qualification to build high-quality pipeline for Account Executives.
What You’ll Do
- Own the outreach engine: design and execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (phone, email, LinkedIn, video) targeting senior healthcare decision-makers.
- Qualify opportunities: research accounts quickly, surface key needs, and identify qualified leads for Account Executives.
- Perform pre-call intelligence: tailor messaging with account- and prospect-specific insights.
- Track progress in Salesforce daily: manage cadences, log activities, and surface market feedback.
- Collaborate with sales leadership and AEs: iterate messaging, role-play, and refine strategies to improve conversion.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or 1–2 years of relevant, goal-oriented experience (retail management, fundraising, competitive sports, military, or similar).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable engaging senior executives.
- High intrinsic motivation, competitive drive, and a growth mindset.
- Coachable and team-oriented; ready to work in a fast-paced, in-office environment.
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Prior exposure to B2B technology sales or SDR internships.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM and outreach automation tools.
- Experience with high-volume cold calling or phone-based outreach.
- Interest or background in Healthcare / HealthTech.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $57,000 per year.
- On‑Target Earnings (OTE): $85,000 (base $57,000 + $28,000 variable; uncapped upside for top performers).
- Equity: eligible for stock options.

Location & Schedule
- Work onsite at the Santa Barbara, CA headquarters — 5 days per week (Monday–Friday). Applicants must be able to work from the Santa Barbara office.
Interview Process (what to expect)
- Introductory call with Talent Acquisition (20–30 minutes).
- Short writing assignment (self‑paced, ~1 hour).
- Zoom interview with the hiring manager (30 minutes).
- On-site interview with a mock cold-call exercise (1 hour) — performed at the Santa Barbara office.
