Role Overview

This is an entry-level, high-activity Sales Development Representative (SDR) role focused on outbound prospecting and pipeline generation as part of a structured training program. The position is remote within North Carolina and is operated on behalf of a Confidential Client in the technology / sales training space. The program is designed to move successful participants into a full-time SDR role after an initial 4–6 month training period.


What You’ll Do

  • Conduct high-volume outbound outreach (phone-first — target ~115 calls/day), email, and social prospecting to generate qualified leads for partner companies.
  • Build and qualify pipeline by identifying decision-makers and influencers at technology companies ranging from startups to multinational organizations.
  • Learn and apply proven sales methodologies through hands-on training and coaching from sales leaders.
  • Track activity and outcomes in CRM; follow processes for lead routing and handoffs to closers or partner teams.
  • Continuously refine messaging and approach based on coaching feedback and performance metrics.
  • Network with local and regional technology professionals to build long-term career capital.

Who We’re Looking For / Qualifications

  • Demonstrated record of high achievement (academic, work, volunteer, or military experience).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; persuasive and professional on the phone.
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and persistence.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow defined processes.
  • Willingness to learn quickly and accept frequent feedback.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; military experience is valued.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to work remotely from within North Carolina.

Compensation & Employment Details

  • Employment type: FULL_TIME
  • Base salary + uncapped commission. Base pay listed in source: $30,000 / year (OTE $42,000 / year).
