What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Sales Development Apprentice in Houston, TX. This entry-level role offers hands-on training in sales outreach, lead qualification, and CRM management within the telecommunications / fiber-optic space. You will support the sales team by engaging prospects, documenting interactions, and helping prepare materials that move leads through the funnel.
- Conduct outreach to potential clients through email, phone calls, and social media.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule appointments for the sales team.
- Learn and clearly communicate product and service value propositions.
- Document interactions and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Help prepare sales presentations, proposals, and follow-up materials.
- Participate in training sessions and shadow senior sales representatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on targeted outreach campaigns.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business or related field is a plus.
- Highly motivated, coachable, and eager to build a career in sales.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (preferred but not required).
- Basic interest or familiarity with telecommunications or fiber-optic services is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work legally in the United States.
