What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a Sales Data Analyst (Remote) to turn sales and customer data into actionable insights that drive revenue and improve sales performance. You will work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations to deliver reporting, analyses, and dashboards that inform strategy and day-to-day decision-making.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc sales reports and dashboards to track performance, pipeline, and KPIs
- Analyze revenue trends, product performance, customer segments, and territory results to find improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations to define tracking needs, measurement approaches, and success metrics
- Design and maintain dashboards and automated reporting using BI tools and spreadsheets
- Support forecasting and quota analysis with data-driven inputs and scenario modeling
- Ensure data quality by validating datasets, documenting assumptions, and troubleshooting issues
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytics role (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias for actionable insights
- Proficiency with Excel for analysis and reporting; experience with spreadsheets at scale
- Experience building reports and dashboards for sales/finance stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings clearly to non-technical audiences
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and managing multiple requests/priorities
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL or other query languages for data extraction
- Familiarity with BI/visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)
- Background in sales operations, revenue analytics, or forecasting models
