What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Sales Coordinator (Data Entry) in Bolingbrook, IL to provide day-to-day support to the sales team. This entry-level sales support role focuses on accurate order entry, customer communication, and coordination across internal teams to help deliver a positive customer experience and build a foundation for a sales career.
- Handle customer inquiries, order requests, and information requests professionally and promptly.
- Enter, review, and maintain customer orders and related documentation in company systems.
- Coordinate order activity including changes, cancellations, acknowledgements, shipment updates, ASNs, and PODs.
- Follow up with internal departments, suppliers, processors, and vendors to expedite orders.
- Manage daily email and phone communications with customers and sales staff.
- Maintain customer contact records, pricing updates, and account-specific tools (portals, scorecards, forecasts).
- Assist with RMA/RA/PPAP and other customer or quality-related processes as needed.
- Identify process gaps or communication issues and recommend improvements.
- Support sales management with reporting, overflow work, and administrative tasks.
- Participate in training to build product, system, and industry knowledge; occasional travel as required.
Who You Are / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, supply chain, or related field required.
- Prior customer service, administrative, or sales support experience preferred but not required.
- Comfortable learning web-based systems, customer portals, and internal business applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in building a long-term career in sales; prior metals industry experience helpful but not mandatory.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year (estimated).
- Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and training & development opportunities.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Bolingbrook, IL (Will County).
- This posting is for the Bolingbrook, IL location; occasional travel to customers, suppliers, or vendors may be required.
