Role overview

This outside sales role focuses on building strong B2B relationships with foodservice and restaurant customers, driving profitable sales growth across an assigned territory based in Wake Village, TX. The Confidential Client seeks proactive sales professionals with restaurant, culinary, or outside sales experience who want structured training, clear career pathing, and performance-based rewards.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop new business and expand sales with existing accounts to hit territory revenue and profit goals.
  • Prospect, qualify, and prioritize opportunities following account stratification and territory plans.
  • Recommend products and services tailored to customer needs and market trends.
  • Provide product training and value-added support to customer staff.
  • Manage deliveries and coordinate with operations to resolve order or inventory issues.
  • Collect receivables as needed and work with the credit team to manage accounts.
  • Prepare sales budgets, quotes, menu suggestions, and regular sales reports.
  • Represent the Confidential Client at customer events, promotions, and district meetings.
  • Participate in ongoing sales training and support onboarding of new team members.
  • Work non-traditional hours when required to meet customer needs, including some evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Who You Are / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field OR HSD/GED plus 3 years of restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in restaurant or foodservice sales, chef background, or restaurant management is strongly preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance that meets company insurability requirements.
  • Comfortable driving a personal vehicle within the territory for customer visits and events.
  • Proficiency with basic PC tools and MS Office.
  • Strong communicator with proven ability to build trust, follow up, and close sales.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Willing to reside in or relocate to the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory.
  • Be prepared to pass employment testing and to sign the Confidential Client Protective Covenants Agreement as part of employment.

Location & Travel
