Compensation & Benefits
Confidential Client is offering a competitive compensation package for this outside sales role.
- Compensation range (CA): $50,800.00 - $84,600.00 (range provided in compliance with applicable state pay-transparency laws). Final pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other permissible factors.

Job Summary
This is an outside sales position with Confidential Client, focused on promoting products and services and building relationships with new and existing accounts across the assigned territory. The primary objective is to help customers succeed while achieving territory sales and profitability goals.
This position may require non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) and travel up to 50%.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within the assigned territory.
- Seek and qualify prospects in line with account stratification and territory objectives.
- Research customer needs and recommend a tailored mix of products and services.
- Evaluate market trends and proactively recommend products based on customer business needs.
- Remain informed on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors; share market insights with customers.
- Address customer questions regarding products, pricing, availability, and usage.
- Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel when needed.
- Drive a personal vehicle to customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings; manage travel and territory routing.
- Assist with accounts receivable collection activities as needed, working with credit teams to collect balances due.
- Coordinate with the transportation department to manage deliveries and troubleshoot order-related issues.
- Participate in promotions, customer events, and company sales meetings.
- Engage in ongoing training and assist with onboarding/training new sales staff when requested.
- Review and analyze reports such as special-order requests, bid files, and sales/margin data.
- Perform required administrative duties: preparing sales budgets and reports, maintaining records, processing credits, preparing quotes, and filing documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related discipline OR
- High school diploma/GED plus 3 years of restaurant management, B2B, or outside sales experience (or equivalent experience), including completion of a sales internship or equivalent on-the-job training.
Preferred
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
- Restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or chef experience preferred.
Requirements & Certifications
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
- Current automobile insurance meeting required limits for liability in the role (refer to employer requirements).
- Ability to pass employment testing and to sign the company protective covenants agreement.
- Reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory.
Professional Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency with basic PC skills and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; bilingual skills are a plus.

Location & Travel
Primary location (authoritative): Textile Finance, CA, United States. Assigned territory includes (examples): El Segundo; Gardena; Inglewood; Manhattan Beach; Redondo Beach; South Bay — travel across the territory may be up to 50%.
