What You’ll Do
This is an outside sales role focused on building and growing a customer base across an assigned territory in Tapps Island, WA. You will promote the Confidential Client’s products and services, develop new business, strengthen existing accounts, and help customers achieve their goals through consultative selling and product expertise.
- Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth within the assigned territory.
- Qualify prospects and follow account-stratification goals.
- Research customer needs and recommend product and service mixes to meet those needs.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity; recommend product adjustments and pricing strategies.
- Provide product information and on-site training to customer personnel.
- Manage order-related issues (stock-outs, special orders, low inventory) and coordinate with logistics and credit teams as needed.
- Drive a personal vehicle to customer accounts, events, and meetings.
- Prepare sales quotes, menu suggestions, and administrative sales reports.
- Participate in sales meetings, training, and company/customer events.
- Assist in onboarding and training new sales team members when requested.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field OR High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years of restaurant management, B2B/outside sales experience, or equivalent related experience (including completion of a company sales internship).
- Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets the Confidential Client’s insurability standards.
- Current automobile insurance that meets the Confidential Client’s minimum liability requirements.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Proficiency with MS Office and basic PC skills.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory.
Preferred
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Background in restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or chef experience is a plus.
