Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Outside Sales Consultant to manage and grow territory accounts in and around Moab, UT. This outside sales role focuses on building relationships with restaurants, foodservice operators, and other B2B customers to drive sales of foodservice products and services while delivering exceptional customer value.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop new business and expand sales within assigned territory.
  • Penetrate existing accounts and minimize lost business to achieve profitable growth.
  • Qualify prospects and follow account stratification goals.
  • Research customer needs and recommend product and service mixes to meet goals.
  • Provide product information and hands-on training to customer staff.
  • Represent Confidential Client at customer events, promotions, and meetings.
  • Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and company events as required.
  • Participate in sales meetings, ongoing training, and help train new team members as requested.
  • Manage administrative tasks: sales quotes, reports, credits, and order troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED plus 3 years of restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience (or equivalent experience, including completion of an approved sales internship).
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Current automobile insurance meeting required liability limits.
  • Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Preferred

  • Bilingual candidates a plus.
  • Previous restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or chef experience preferred.

Certificates / Other Requirements

  • Current automobile insurance with limits: $100,000 bodily injury per person; $300,000 bodily injury per accident; $100,000 property damage (required).
  • Pass employment testing.
  • Must sign Confidential Client Protective Covenants Agreement.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the geographic vicinity of the assigned territory.

Compensation

  • Estimated base pay: $40,405 per year (estimated). Actual compensation may vary based on experience and location. Eligible employees may also earn bonuses and participate in benefit programs described above.
