Confidential Client is hiring an Outside Sales Consultant (Mandarin/Thai) to develop new business and grow existing accounts in the West Hollywood, CA territory. This outside-sales role focuses on foodservice and restaurant customers and includes territory management, account development, and customer-facing product training.
Estimated compensation: $53,369 per year (estimated).

What You’ll Do
This outside-sales position is responsible for promoting products and services and building relationships with new and existing accounts to help customers succeed while meeting sales and profit goals.
- Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth within your assigned territory
- Qualify prospects according to account stratification goals and territory strategy
- Research customer needs and recommend a mix of products and services to meet those needs
- Monitor market and competitor activity and provide value-added insights to customers
- Provide product information and practical on-site training to customer personnel
- Drive a personal vehicle to customer accounts, company meetings, and industry events
- Communicate with credit/collections when necessary and assist with accounts receivable
- Manage order/delivery issues, troubleshoot inventory and special-order challenges
- Participate in promotions, customer events, sales meetings, and ongoing training
- Prepare sales quotes, menu suggestions, budgets and reports; maintain accurate sales records
- Assist with training new employees as requested
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR high school diploma/GED plus 3 years of restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience (or equivalent relatable experience, including completion of a sales internship)
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurability standards
- Current automobile insurance meeting the following minimum liability limits: Bodily injury – $100,000 each person / $300,000 each accident; Property damage – $100,000
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office
Preferred
- Bilingual in Mandarin and/or Thai
- Restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or chef background
Additional Requirements
- Pass employment testing
- Sign Confidential Client’s protective covenants agreement as part of employment terms (if applicable)
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the geographic vicinity of the assigned territory
