Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an Outside Sales Representative (Sales Consultant - Hindi Bilingual) to join a foodservice-focused sales team in Houston, TX. This role is field-based and focuses on building relationships with restaurants and foodservice operators to drive product sales and profitable growth within an assigned territory.

What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, and helping customers meet their goals by recommending products and services. Typical responsibilities include:
- Develop new business opportunities and penetrate existing accounts to drive sales growth.
- Identify and qualify prospects according to account stratification goals.
- Assess customer needs and create product/service recommendations that meet those needs.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity; present insights and recommendations to customers.
- Provide product information and practical training to customer staff.
- Drive to and visit customer accounts, conventions, and company meetings as needed.
- Work with credit and operations teams to manage receivables, orders, and deliveries.
- Participate in sales meetings, promotions, customer events and training sessions.
- Prepare sales budgets, reports, quotes, menu suggestions and maintain accurate sales records.
- Support and occasionally train new team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field OR HSD/GED plus 3 years’ experience in restaurant management, B2B or outside sales (or equivalent related experience, including completion of a sales internship).
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance that meets company insurability standards.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Basic PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
Preferred
- Bilingual in Hindi and English (required or strongly preferred depending on territory).
- Experience in restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or culinary background (chef experience).
- Demonstrated success in territory-based sales and account management.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory.
- Successful completion of employment testing and signing of applicable protective covenants (as required by the Confidential Client).
- Driving record that meets insurability standards; current automobile insurance with recommended limits (example: $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident bodily injury; $100,000 property damage) — follow Confidential Client’s policy for exact requirements.

Location & Travel Requirements
