What You’ll Do
You will be responsible for territory development and account management to drive profitable sales growth.
- Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve sales targets
- Qualify prospects according to account stratification goals
- Assess customer needs and recommend product/service mixes
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity; advise customers on product solutions
- Provide product information and on-site training to customer staff
- Manage order/troubleshoot delivery and stocking issues with internal teams
- Drive to customer accounts, meetings, and events using a personal vehicle
- Coordinate with credit and billing to collect receivables as needed
- Prepare sales quotes, menus suggestions, reports, and maintain accurate records
- Attend sales meetings, participate in promotions and customer events
- Train new hires and participate in ongoing professional development
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required education / experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED plus 3 years’ restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience (or comparable experience, including completion of a sales internship)
Preferred:
- Bilingual candidates preferred
- Restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or chef experience a plus
Certificates, Licenses & Driver Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurability standards
- Current automobile insurance meeting the following limits: bodily injury $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident; property damage $100,000 required
- Ability to meet any client-specific protective covenants or agreements as required
Requirements
- Must pass employment testing
- Must sign any required confidentiality/protective covenants requested by the client
- Reside in (or be willing to relocate to) the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory
Professional Skills & Competencies
- Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to read, write, and speak English (bilingual preferred)
- Sales competencies: building trust, customer loyalty, follow-up, persuasiveness, time/territory management, adaptability, and clear communication
Compensation & Employment Type
- Estimated base pay: $84,086 per year (estimate shown in source listing)
- Bonus and promotional incentive opportunities available
- Employment type: Full-time (CONTRACTOR options may apply depending on client needs)

- Job location: Grapevine, TX (territory-based outside sales; must live in or be willing to relocate to the territory)
