Sales Consultant - Los Angeles - South Bay
The Sales Consultant at Confidential Client is responsible for outside sales activities, promoting products and services, and building strong relationships with new and existing customers in the assigned territory. This role focuses on achieving sales and profit goals through business development, market research, and customer support, while participating in training and company events to enhance sales effectiveness.

What You’ll Do
This is an outside sales role focused on building relationships with new and existing foodservice accounts in the Gardena / South Bay territory. You will promote the Confidential Client’s products and services, help customers solve operational and menu challenges, and drive profitable sales growth against territory goals.
- Develop new business and deepen relationships with existing accounts to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Prospect, qualify, and prioritize accounts according to territory plans.
- Recommend product mixes and menu solutions aligned to customer needs and market trends.
- Provide product demonstrations and on-site training for customer staff.
- Manage deliveries and resolve order/inventory issues in coordination with operations teams.
- Coordinate with credit and operations to manage receivables and account issues.
- Participate in promotions, events, and sales/district meetings.
- Maintain accurate sales records, prepare quotes, monitor margins, and complete administrative sales tasks.
- Engage in ongoing training and assist with onboarding new sales team members as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field
OR High school diploma/GED plus 3 years of restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience (or equivalent experience, including completion of an approved sales internship). - Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance that meets company insurability requirements.
- Ability to work occasional non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) as customer needs require.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred
- Restaurant management, culinary, or foodservice outside sales experience.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) are a plus.
- Comfortable using MS Office and basic sales reporting tools.
Requirements & Conditions
- Pass pre-employment testing.
- Sign Confidential Client’s protective covenants / sales agreement as a condition of employment.
- Reside in (or be willing to relocate to) the geographic vicinity of the assigned territory.
- Meet driving-record requirements to be insurable.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated base pay: $55,299 per year (estimated).

Location & Travel
- Primary work location: Gardena, CA (South Bay Los Angeles area).
