Sales Consultant - Eagle Pass/ Del Rio, Texas.
The Sales Consultant for the Eagle Pass/Del Rio territory is responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business and maintaining existing customer relationships within the foodservice industry. This role involves promoting Confidential Client's products, providing customer training, managing accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to meet sales and profit goals. The position requires strong sales skills, market knowledge, and the ability to work flexible hours to support customer needs.

What You’ll Do
This is an outside territory sales role focused on building and growing business with foodservice customers in the Eagle Pass / Del Rio area. You will promote product and service solutions, develop new accounts, strengthen existing customer relationships, and achieve sales and profitability goals set for the territory.
- Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to drive profitable sales growth.
- Prospect, qualify, and prioritize accounts per territory and account stratification plans.
- Assess customer needs and recommend product mixes, promotions, and menu suggestions.
- Provide product information and on-site training for customer personnel.
- Track market and competitor activity; advise customers with value-added insights.
- Manage order and delivery issues; coordinate with operations, credit, and transportation teams to resolve problems quickly.
- Prepare sales reports, quotes, and sales forecasts; support promotional and customer events.
- Attend sales meetings, trainings, and participate in team-based selling initiatives.
- Work some non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, or holidays) as needed to meet customer requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED plus 3 years of restaurant management, B2B/outside sales experience, or equivalent related experience (including completion of an approved sales internship).
- Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company insurability standards.
- Current automobile insurance that meets the stated limits (see Location & Travel Requirements).
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred:
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
- Prior restaurant management, chef experience, or foodservice outside sales experience.
Other requirements:
- Pass employment testing and any client-required agreements.
- Reside within (or be willing to relocate to) the geographic vicinity of the assigned territory (candidate ideally within ~30 miles).
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated compensation: $69,351 per year (estimated).

Location & Travel Requirements
- Primary work location: Eagle Pass, TX (territory includes Eagle Pass / Del Rio).
- Candidate should reside within approximately 30 miles of the territory or be willing to relocate.
- Regular travel across the territory required—driving personal vehicle to customer accounts, meetings and events.
- Automobile insurance minimum limits required by client: bodily injury $100,000 each person / $300,000 each accident; property damage $100,000.

- Basic PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
