Sales Consultant - Dublin, GA
The Sales Consultant is responsible for outside sales activities, promoting Confidential Client's products and services, and building strong relationships with new and existing customers to achieve sales and profit goals. This role involves developing new business, managing accounts, providing product training, and participating in sales meetings and company events. The position requires adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to work some non-traditional hours to meet customer needs.

Job Summary
This is an outside territory sales role focused on building and maintaining relationships with foodservice accounts in the assigned Dublin, GA territory. You will promote product and service solutions that help customers succeed while achieving sales and profit goals set by the Confidential Client. The role may require some non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business, penetrate existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within your territory
- Prospect and qualify opportunities in line with account stratification goals
- Assess customer needs and recommend a mix of products and services to meet those needs
- Track market trends, competitive activity, and product innovations; present value-added recommendations to customers
- Provide product information and hands-on training to customer personnel as needed
- Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts, industry events, and company meetings
- Collaborate with credit and operations teams to collect receivables and resolve order/process issues (e.g., out-of-stock, special orders)
- Participate in company promotions, customer events, and sales/district meetings
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, quotes, menu suggestions, and other administrative materials
- Assist with new-hire training and ongoing professional development activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field OR High School Diploma/GED plus 3 years restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience (or equivalent experience, including completion of a sales internship)
- Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting the Confidential Client’s insurability standards
- Current automobile insurance meeting the following minimum limits: Bodily injury — $100,000 each person / $300,000 each accident; Property damage — $100,000 (or state-minimum equivalent where applicable)
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory
- Ability to pass required employment testing and to sign the Confidential Client Protective Covenants Agreement
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- Prior restaurant management, foodservice outside-sales, or chef experience preferred

Compensation (Estimated)
- Estimated base pay: $53,282 per year (estimate provided with source posting). Actual compensation and bonus structure will be confirmed by the Confidential Client during the hiring process.
Location
- Dublin, GA — position requires regular travel within the assigned territory and use of a personal vehicle.
