Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Sales Consultant to cover the Conroe, Magnolia, and Tomball, TX territory. This is an outside sales role focused on building relationships with new and existing foodservice and restaurant accounts, driving profitable sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
This listing is for Conroe, TX (work to be performed in the local territory). The ideal candidate will live within ~30 miles of at least one of the named locations.
What You’ll Do
As a Sales Consultant you will manage an assigned territory and be responsible for acquiring new accounts, growing existing business, and supporting customers with product knowledge and value-added service.
- Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to drive profitable sales growth.
- Qualify prospects and execute territory plans aligned with account stratification goals.
- Recommend products and solutions based on customers’ business needs and market trends.
- Provide product training and menu suggestions to customer personnel.
- Address customer questions on pricing, availability, and product use.
- Drive your personal vehicle to customer accounts, meetings, and events.
- Support order and delivery issues; collaborate with operations and credit teams as needed.
- Prepare sales reports, budgets, quotes, and periodic analyses of sales and profit metrics.
- Participate in district meetings, promotions, and ongoing training programs.
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring new sales team members as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field
OR HSD/GED plus 3 years’ experience in restaurant management, outside/B2B sales, or comparable experience (including completion of a sales internship). - Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance that meets the company’s insurability standards:
- Bodily injury: $100,000 per person / $300,000 per accident
- Property damage: $100,000
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English or other) are a plus.
- Prior restaurant management, chef, or foodservice outside sales experience preferred.
Other requirements
- Must pass employment testing and sign a standard protective covenants agreement.
- Reside in or be willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of the territory (within ~30 miles).

Location & Travel
- Primary work location: Conroe, TX (territory includes Conroe, Magnolia, Tomball).
- This is a field/sales role that requires travel within the assigned territory and occasional non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) to meet customer needs.
