Job Summary

This is an outside sales role for a Confidential Client in the foodservice / sales industry. You will develop and manage a territory (Commerce / Toccoa, GA area), build relationships with new and existing accounts, and help customers succeed while achieving assigned sales and profitability goals. The role requires customer visits, territory management, and occasional non-traditional hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) as needed.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop new business, grow existing accounts, and minimize lost business to achieve profitable sales growth within your assigned territory.
  • Qualify and pursue prospects in line with account stratification goals.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend product and service mixes to meet those needs.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity; recommend appropriate products and solutions.
  • Provide product information, practical training, and value-added support to customer personnel.
  • Drive your personal vehicle to customer accounts, events, and meetings as required.
  • Manage order/delivery issues and coordinate with operations/transportation to resolve customer concerns.
  • Support collections/AR activities in collaboration with the credit team when necessary.
  • Prepare sales quotes, menu suggestions, budgets and reports; maintain accurate sales records.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, customer events, and company promotions.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new sales team members when requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base compensation shown in source posting: $100,000 per year (base). Actual pay may vary based on experience, location, and other individualized factors.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related discipline OR HSD/GED plus 3 years’ restaurant management, B2B or outside sales experience (or equivalent related experience, including completion of an approved sales internship).
  • Valid driver’s license and personal automobile insurance that meets company insurability standards. (Insurability thresholds may include specific liability minimums.)
  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or chef experience preferred.
  • Previous territory or B2B sales experience in foodservice or hospitality is advantageous.

  • Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office.
  • Strong communication, follow-up, and customer-focused selling skills.
  • Ability to build trust and customer loyalty, manage workload, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated sales ability and persuasiveness.

Requirements & Conditions

  • Pass employment testing.

  • Must maintain appropriate automobile insurance and a driving record that meets client standards.
