What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Sales Associate to support territory sales activities in Manhattan, NY. This is an entry-level field role designed as a feeder to the Sales Executive path. The role focuses on hands-on customer engagement, product demonstrations, and supporting sales operations across medical device product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct product demonstrations and customer evaluations at customer sites.
- Present and differentiate medical device products, highlighting features and clinical benefits.
- Build and maintain compliant relationships with key stakeholders (nurses, physicians, administrators, clinical staff).
- Prepare sales quotes, service agreements, and promotional materials in support of the sales team.
- Train and educate customers on product care, handling, and safe operation.
- Manage, track, and maintain demonstration inventory and provide timely follow-ups and status updates.
- Support the local sales team and Region Sales Associate Manager with administrative and field tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in medical device or clinical sales support.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to follow hospital and client protocols; maintain professional conduct with customers and colleagues.
- Must meet and maintain credentialing requirements for hospitals and healthcare facilities (background checks, verification of credentials, immunizations, etc.).
- Ability to travel frequently to customer sites (~90% travel), including hospitals, operating rooms, labs, and surgical centers.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-service mindset.
