What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Sales Associate to build pipeline and set qualified appointments with commercial clients in and around East Brunswick, NJ. This is a hands-on B2B sales development role with structured training, coaching, and a clear path to account-management and closing roles.

  • Prospect and identify commercial clients (offices, medical facilities, schools, warehouses, property managers) across Central New Jersey.
  • Make outbound calls, send emails, use LinkedIn, and perform in-person drop-ins to generate new business opportunities.
  • Research companies, facilities, and decision-makers in assigned markets.
  • Schedule qualified appointments and site walk-throughs for the sales team.
  • Build relationships with office managers, facility managers, property managers, business owners, and operations leaders.
  • Learn to diagnose facility-service needs and explain how solutions from our client can help.
  • Maintain accurate prospect activity, notes, and follow-up tasks in the CRM.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training, local networking events, and client visits as needed.
  • Work toward monthly activity, appointment-setting, and pipeline-development goals.
  • Grow toward roles such as Account Executive, Business Development Manager, or Client Success leader.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $50,000–$54,000 base salary, plus uncapped commission; realistic first-year on-target earnings of $60,000–$65,000 for a fully ramped performer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 1–2 years of professional experience in sales, customer service, recruiting, hospitality, athletics, business development, or another client-facing role.
  • Recent college graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and comfortable being measured on activity and results.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Confidence starting conversations with new people by phone, email, LinkedIn, and in person.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage consistent follow-up.
  • Coachable with a positive attitude and willingness to accept feedback.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and CRM tools; LinkedIn experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local client visits.
  • Ability to work primarily in person from our East Brunswick, NJ office.
