What You’ll Do

Take charge. Think fast. Move forward. As a Sales and Operations Management Trainee with our confidential client, you will build a strong foundation across sales, operations, finance and customer service while learning to manage day-to-day business activities and deliver solutions for customers.

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts, including Fortune 500 clients
• Manage inventory of vehicles; balance fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction
• Prospect and generate new business leads while maintaining strong existing customer relationships
• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced environment and resolve issues quickly
• Collaborate with a high-energy team and participate in ongoing training and mentoring
• Track performance metrics and contribute to process improvements that drive results

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (preferred concentration: Business or Marketing)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Internship or customer-facing work experience preferred
• Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and time-management skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness/ability to drive company vehicles (including a 26’ box truck)
• Able to maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
• Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening as required
• Ability to travel within the local district for customer visits and training

Compensation & Employment Type

• Pay: $25 per hour (as provided by the source posting)
• Employment type: Full-time; Contract opportunities and internship possibilities may be available

Note: If selected you will be employed by our client (Confidential Client). This role requires DOT-regulated driving for certain duties and maintaining a driver qualification file.

Physical & Safety Requirements

This position is safety-sensitive and regulated by the Department of Transportation. Candidates must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and follow safety procedures.

• May be required to stand, walk and sit; frequently use hands and reach with arms
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs (12 kg)
• Specific vision abilities required (close/distance/peripheral vision, depth perception)
• Driver qualification file requirements include annual MVR checks, a DOT physical, safety performance history requests, and DOT drug screening (CDL holders subject to FMCSA Clearinghouse review)

Location & Travel

Work location: Merrillville, GA. Local travel within the district (customer yards, training sites) is required. Candidates must be willing to work the schedule required at the assigned location.
