What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is looking for a Sales and Operations Management Trainee to join a fast-paced logistics and fleet environment. This is an entry-level management development role where you will rotate through sales, operations, customer service and fleet management to build the skills needed for a management career.

  • Develop customer solutions for local and national accounts, including commercial and consumer customers.
  • Support fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction by helping manage vehicle inventory and utilization.
  • Generate new business leads and maintain existing customer relationships.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Participate in training and mentoring programs across sales, operations, finance and technology.

Who You Are / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business or Marketing concentration preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Internship or customer-facing work experience preferred.
  • Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Valid driver’s license required; willingness and ability to drive company vehicles (including 26' box trucks) is essential.
  • Able to maintain regular, predictable attendance.

Requirements & Compliance

This position includes driving responsibilities and is regulated by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). Candidates must meet and maintain required driver qualification documentation:

  • Maintain a current driver qualification file, including annual motor vehicle records (MVR) checks.
  • Complete and pass a DOT physical exam.
  • Provide prior employment safety performance history as required.
  • CDL holders: DOT drug screening within 30 days of hire and FMCSA Clearinghouse review as applicable.
  • Employment contingent on successful background check (employment, education and criminal history) and drug screening where required.

Physical Requirements

Reasonable accommodations may be considered. Typical physical expectations include:

  • Ability to stand, walk and sit as needed; frequent use of hands to handle and reach with arms.
  • Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs (12 kg).
  • Visual abilities: close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.
  • Ability to read, analyze information, follow instructions and communicate clearly.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay: $25.00 per hour (as listed).
  • Source-estimated annual compensation: approximately $74,619 per year (estimate shown by source).

  • Primary location: 4700 Georgetown Rd, Lexington, KY 40511 (Lexington, KY).
  • Employment type: Full-time (and internship rotations as indicated in source).
