Overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Sales and Operations Management Trainee in Evansville, IN. This is an entry-level, fast-track management role in the logistics and warehouse industry. The position pays $25 per hour and includes hands-on training across sales, operations, fleet management, finance, customer service, and technology. This role requires driving company vehicles and maintaining DOT-required driver qualification documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Learn and apply proven sales processes and operational procedures to support local and national accounts, including Fortune 500 customers
• Manage fleet productivity and vehicle inventory to balance profitability and customer satisfaction
• Generate new business leads and deepen relationships with existing customers
• Provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate with a high-energy team while developing a broad management skill set

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Business or Marketing concentration preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Internship or customer-facing work experience preferred
• Results oriented with attention to detail and strong time management
• Valid driver’s license required and willingness to drive company vehicles, including 26 foot box trucks
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the job

Requirements & Compliance

This role involves driving and is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive. Candidates must be able to meet and maintain a driver qualification file which may include:

• Annual motor vehicle records check
• Successfully completed DOT physical
• Safety Performance History records request from prior employers
• CDL holders will have DOT drug screening within 30 days of start and may be subject to FMCSA Clearinghouse review

Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background investigation, drug screening, and any role-specific qualification checks. Willingness to travel within the district for customer visits and training may be required.
