What You’ll Do
This entry-level Safety Coordinator will support the Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) team for a confidential client in the Engineering industry. You will work across office and field environments to help maintain a safe workplace and support regulatory compliance.
- Support implementation and maintenance of company safety programs and procedures
- Conduct site inspections and routine safety observations at operational and project sites
- Assist with incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
- Help prepare for and support internal and external safety audits and inspections
- Coordinate and help deliver safety training (including OSHA-related trainings) for employees and contractors
- Maintain safety records, permits, and compliance documentation
- Communicate safety expectations to employees, contractors, and onsite teams
- Assist with environmental compliance tasks and basic EHS reporting as assigned
- Travel to operational and project sites as needed (local travel)
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, or related field — OR equivalent relevant experience
- 0–3 years of safety experience; recent graduates and early-career candidates encouraged to apply
- Internship, co-op, military, construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, utility, or industrial safety experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety principles
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is desirable (but not required)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and good written/verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and able to travel to field sites as needed
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits
- Employment type: Contract to Hire — Full-Time (hybrid)
- Location: Allen, TX (hybrid)
- Pay range: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour (actual pay offer will depend on qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors)
- Estimated annual equivalent (for reference): ≈ $53,266 per year (estimated)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- OSHA 10/30 certification

- Prior exposure to industrial or energy infrastructure environments (oil & gas, utilities, construction, manufacturing)
- Familiarity with incident investigation and corrective action processes
Workplace & Schedule
- This is a hybrid role based in Allen, TX; occasional travel to project and operational sites is required.
- Contract-to-hire with the potential to transition to direct employment with the confidential client.
