What You’ll Do
This Rotational Development Program (Finance) in North Charleston, SC is a 24-month, entry-level program designed to accelerate your growth in manufacturing finance within electrified mobility. You will rotate across functions to develop hands-on finance, controlling, and business analysis skills while receiving structured mentorship and leadership exposure.
- Support financial planning & analysis (FP&A) activities for plant/divisional operations
- Assist monthly financial closings and perform variance analysis of actual vs. planned results
- Contribute to quarterly and annual forecasting by collecting data, updating models, and validating assumptions
- Help prepare annual cost targets and review financial inputs in ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Compile financial reports and dashboards for plant and divisional stakeholders
- Assist in preparing management review presentations
- Support investment and business-case analyses (basic DCF and ROI calculations)
- Maintain product costing data, including part-number setup and cost updates/releases
- Track cost-reduction initiatives and estimate financial impacts
- Monitor KPIs and analyze performance versus targets
- Participate in benchmarking and continuous-improvement activities to understand cost structures
- Ensure compliance with internal controls by maintaining accurate documentation and approvals
- Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain to improve financial transparency and decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 1–3 years of professional experience, or relevant internship/co‑op experience in finance, controlling, data analysis, or manufacturing preferred
- Basic understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
- Proficient in Excel; exposure to ERP systems (SAP) or BI tools (Power BI) is a plus
- Solid communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Interest in a long-term career in manufacturing finance or controlling
- Geographical flexibility — candidates should be willing to relocate as needed during the program (domestically or internationally)
